The Sudbury Yacht Club (incorporated on June 9 1959) occupies one of the islands at the South end of Ramsey lake just across from Science North. The A frame club house was built by the club members and the Yacht Club has a sailing school for children and adults who want to learn about the techniques of sailing. The Club offers 3 races a week and host 3 regattas INCO, North Shore Centennial, and the Sudbury Yacht Club.
